Deffinately take Hwy 79 north to 431, then just stay on hwy 431 north until you get to the turn off. We currently have someone with a pontoon that is planning on being there. Either way the turn off will be at Honeycomb Campground.

If the Pontoon is a confirmed shuttle I'll mark it on the map, link it here, and you can just click it and click where it says "Get Directions.".

I would like to say I am a maybe. That weekend is my girlfriend's birthday, so I would have to talk her into going. Keep your fingers crossed.

If I don't make it, I hope it goes well, and a lot of people show up.

For those that have families coming and prefer to have bathroom facilities and such, or will find it a lot easier to talk family into coming by staying in a campground. We will be VERY close to a campground for this entire time. You can easily camp in the campground and hike over the hill to our proposed camp site. If we move it over onto Goat Island those staying in the campground can arrange shuttle over to the Island.

I'm kind of hoping we can get a few motor boats commited. I know I'm bringing my kayaks to cruise out to the Island and nearby sites. I will be starting a new thread when we get 100% concrete details. But we're certianly a go for that weekend in that area. The put in to go out to Goat Island is on the same road as Honeycomb Campground. The camping area currently intended for the event is less than a mile hike from the Honeycomb campground.
