That idiot's lucky he's not dead. If the other end had cut loose first, he'd have slammed his skull right onto the pavement.

I hope I look more manly when making hammocks. I was just laughing,"He's using cotton rope" and it broke. Honestly I think I wanted it to break. That or the sign to bend down and smack.

so stupid- rivals the pathfinder video from a few weeks ago.

i'm all about spreading the word to a younger, hipper-than-thou-generation,
    but this guy is ridiculous.

    cotton rope! haha.
and very true, hanging that high from a street sign over concrete with clothesline?!?!
is a recipe for disaster. he's lucky to have escaped with a biffed tailbone.

OH well ... at least the head end didn't snap first ... then he might have been seriously hurt. Strange feller!

On the embedding ... works on YouTube videos ... not sure there's an option to embed other video's on HF. Just the links but that works!

Evil Hawk-eye wanted to see that sign whip backwards on him!

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

Judging from the upper photo, it looks like the Police may have had a word with him about his choice of locations.

Another reason to always check your suspension...
I ran across this one trying to find stuff on Mayan weave patterns.

We've been down this road before with this video.

Yes the cotton line was dumb but he owns up to it and recommends climbing line on his web page. He learned from his mistake and how many of us have had failures during our hammock learning process.

Sorry to come off preachy, but we keep tearing this guy down. That's not the welcoming, HYOH, attitude we normally aspire to on this forum.
