    Smile New here from MA

Just wanted to say hello to my fellow hangers.

I'm from western MA, in the berkshires...about a 20 minute drive from the AT when you cross over I-90 (Mass Pike).

At this point in my hammocking career I've got a full ENO setup and actually switched half way through a thru hike of the Long Trail in VT. Came here to share my thoughts/opinions/knowledge/experiences and gain some insight from yours too.

See you around the forums and happy trails!

WELCOME from another MA hanger!! We just had a hang in VT, at Grout Pond. There are several of us in the NE/NY area that will be hanging together - and soon! We will be organizing another hang in VT in the Fall - maybe the same place. Some of the hangers here are always someplace on the Long Trail .... Niloc comes to mind, and Bleemus is doing the whole trail right now.

Keep yer eyes peeled for more info on upcoming hangs. I was going to do a section of the AT with the JerzyBears, but have not heard back from them. I will be sending my hammock along to 2QzQ for zipper mods this week, so I may not be hanging for a bit, but will DEFINITELY be hitting the Piney woods once it is back!

    WELCOME again!
