    2010 AT Thru-Hiker Planning a Hanging Trek

    Hello everybody,
I am a 19 year old College student taking the semester off to thru-hike the AT south-north starting in March. My Dad has an older Hennessey hammock that I've used on a number of occasions and which has solidly converted me to hanging. I like the idea of swinging comfortably from the trees anywhere I see fit on the AT and not laying on lumps in designated and potentially crowded campsites. I'm here to do some research for my hanging gear, and I'll be posting a thread about hanging for two in long-distance discussions in just a second. Please help me out!

    Best regards,
    Jack
