If you don't have time to get whoopie slings, there is an easy way to make using the stock rope on an HH esier. See Headchange4u's post on a modified trucker's hitch system here http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=3762. It uses 4 descending rings/rappelling rings as the hitch. I tried it, and it worked. I would thread one end of a tree hugger through the other, then attach a 'biner to the free end, and drop the ring into the 'biner.

The other ring on the pair on each side is attached to the rope with a clove hitch. The working end is then threaded through the ring attached to the strap, and back through the ring on the line. Pull shorten and tension your line, then tie off with a stopper knot. It worked very well.
