For a few days I was able to observe first hand some neat sliding whipping made of Speer no-tangle on some Amsteel whoopie slings from Grizz. Their function was to slide up the whoopie sling to better insure the loop end didn't slip off the toggles. 'Twas very slick and elegant!

I don't have his excellent work any more to observe as a model, so I'm hoping that he or some other knot-knowledgeable person can point me to a "how-to" to make such a whipping that can slide up and down my whoopie slings.
