    i have found that the large ( cheap ) hammocks that you see seem to be rating the suspension that they are using. I am almost 400 lbs, and have slept very comfortably in a Kalisto hammock that is rated for only 300 lbs. i just changed out the suspension. use caution, and you will be fine.
