Here's the plan: I fold the webbing in two, tie a figure-8 to secure the ends together, and pass the ends around the tree and through the newly formed loop. I then use a taughtline hitch through the webbing's figure-8 loop to secure my single ridgeline to the two straps, then pull the ridgeline up to the desired height. To secure the hammock to the ridgeline, I tie paracord prissics to the ~8mm diameter ridgeline, then run one of the two ends of the paracord (hanging loose from the prussic) through the loop in my hammock and tie both ends together with another figure-8.
