We can do a mod 4 on a Deep Jungle. That would get the netting out of the way and stowed at the foot end in a small peak bag. See our web site. ZQ

Thanks Oxblood, Cannibal. That is a good idea on LNT via whoopies.

Well, took the plunge and can't wait to show it off at the LNT class I am teaching shortly. Deep Jungle XL. (Got the XL so that some of my slightly more "well padded" leaders can try it out and see the light. Dang, now I have two fairly new tents to sell.

    Reminds me of a joke:
A guy walks into a bar and starts yelling "I'm a TeePee." "I'm a wigwam." "I'm a TeePee." "I'm a wigwam." The bartender shouts over "Calm down. You're two tents! (too tense)

... yeah, I know... insert rimshot here. But hey, how many tent jokes have YOU heard recently?!!

(By the way, it does not seem to work if you change it to "I'm a WarBird." "I'm a Hennessy.""I'm a WarBird." "I'm a Hennessy..." and the bartender responds "Calm down, you're two hammocks." Just warning you...) :-)

I do love me some corny jokes. My friends and I still are oft heard saying "That's like camping! INTENSE!"

Though now-a-days I actually say "INHAMMOCKS" around the ones that know about my new addiction. It makes me smile and we can sometimes hear the "Wah-wah" trailing off trombone sound...

Here's a corny one: So, a seal walks into a club.....

Seriously, Frostbyte, have fun with the new hammocks. I just converted mine over to whoopies, and will be trying them out next weekend. Prior to that I played with the stock rope and a few modifications (two ring trucker's hitch ala Headchange4u's description, clamcleats, and ring buckle/garda hitch). There is a lot of fun you can have with these things.

Hope your leaders take to the hammocks too.
