Nice trip! Glad it was not too hot, but sorry you missed the swim. Last time I was there, there was a nice swimming hole on the ridge near the Chimneys courtesy of a lively thunderstorm.

enjoyed those videos very much. Thank you and the guys for letting me vicariously enjoy the Linville Gorge.

The effects of precipitation in the gorge was most evident. Good comment about the campsites being up high in the location that you were at, that was noted by myself, and I am sure others will mentally make record of it also.

Most excellent videos Sarge ... and looks like a great crew to go hiking with. That Creek Hopper is a hoot! Love Deadman's laid back approach to whatever came his way.

Wish I could have joined you on this one. Glad you got to make it and hope you get back again in some drier weather!

Fine job with that Sarge. I really enjoyed the videos and seeing the guys involved. Linville will always throw something unexpected at you, and you guys dealt with it. Looked like the river was roaring, and hopefully the water sources
