Welcome Mickey....another from Lancaster County. Lititz. We'll take care of you if you can come to the Mahha hang. One moves along the learning curve real quick at a hang with so many rig variations to see. Everyone is friendly and helpful, especially to a Noob. Great time every year I go.

Based upon everyone's recommendations, it sounds like the MAHHA is the exact place a noob to hang'n should be! I should probably hold off on getting a "winter/bad weather" tarp until after I have a chance to see other rigs at the hang. Looks like I'm gonna have to work on getting a Kitchen Pass from the spousal unit, for October.

Poppabear: I'm from the Lehigh Valley (Allentown) area. I go up to various places in the Poconos quite often. I grew up finshing, snowmobiling, and camping at Lake Wallenpaupack with my family. I swear we were up there every other weekend and an additional two weeks out of the year. I miss the old cabin (trailer with a porch) we had.

jbehun: would LOVE to come up to the AT this weekend, but I'm afraid the better half would kill me. I was up camping and hiking at Ricketts Glen last weekend. Sh'd leave me and take the dog if I left again this weekend.

Wow, it's amazing how many of you PA folks actually live near me. Except for Nails...he lives in the abyss between Lancaster and Ohio...and in that place with the "other" team. J/K. Been wanting to make my way out to P-burg for quite a while now and get me one of those famous Primanti Bro. sandwiches.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible in person, and learning from you here on the boards. Thanks again for all the warm welcome guys.

    Cheers,
    Kyle
