    Long Time Gone

Howdy, folks. It has been nearly a year since I was last on the Hammock Forums and I'm very happy to see it's still up and running.

I hope all has been well with each and every one of you, and though I doubt I'll be posting much -- I have a lot of catching up to do -- I look forward to spending some time on the forums. No doubt a lot has happened in the world of hammocking.

    Happy hanging, everybody.

Welcome back after your sabbatical. There have been all kinds of new innovations within the last year. Nacrabiners and Ogee Tarps are two that come to mind right off the top of my head. Have fun exploring the forum and catching up.

Those 2 are among a couple dozen other innovations. Dutch Clips and Biners, Insultex, and on and on. One would think we are a bunch of engineers for the level of sophistication in hammock technology.

    Cheers

    Don't forget the whoopie slings!

How many pairs of underwear do you own? Do you refer to them as "extras", simply because you're not wearing all of them as we speak?

Big welcome back! It's great when old members start posting again.

As mentioned, you'll want to check out nacrabiners, dutch clips and dutch biners, insultex underquilts, whoopie slings and UCRs, upcoming cuben tarp offerings, the Amsteel discount code, the Mid-Atlantic Hammock Hangers Association (MAHHA hang), and I'm sure there's more.

And a few more cottage hammock makers since you've been here last...more gear choices for the addicts among us.

Know how you feel. Work took me away for a month or so and I sure am glad to get caught back up again. Welcome Back!
