Hiya 106,
Yeah i kinda know what you mean about old bones starting to ache a bit. Guess we are in the same boat here with this hammock business. I got mine the other day. I took it out the bag....smiled, and put it back. i just dont think im ready to wake up on the ground yet with one leg still attached to a tree lol. i seem to have many, many rediculous questions that right now im slightly reluctant to ask, but im reading everything in sight here and i`ll get round to it eventually when i find the silly questions section. i guess one of the first things i should be asking really is are there any particular things i should be looking for, manufacturing defect wise, when examining a new hammock. I feel like a child again whos waiting for his first ever ride a rollercoaster....soooo excited i cant wait. but when its time, your feets glued to the spot if you know what i mean. I have visions - and right now, they`re non too pleasant lol.

No ridiculous questions here mate, just ask - everybody was a noob once. Hammock camping seem to have a steeper learning curve. But just ask - that´s what HF is all about...

Whoooo Buddy! Hammocks re-invigorated my backpacking!
Prepare to start sleeping a wee bit longer at camp.
And sitting upright to put on your boots.
And watching the rain from the dry comfort of your hammock and tarp.
