Hiya, hows it hanging?

Hiya,
I am new to the hammock thing, still haven't got one yet, but probably will soon. Soooooo many choices! And so $$$$ if you dont watch out.

Another new guy here introduced me to the idea of hammocks, Dvisic.
After seeing one of Shug's videos, I became very interested, as it took him just a few minutes to set up. Shug is a riot. worth watching the videos even if your not into hammocks!

I am in Vancouver, Washington, just north of Portland Oregon. I am looking to do more hiking and camping, especially after Dvisic and I did a bit of exploring around Mt. Saint Helens, and some hiking on the Oregon coast down by pacific city/cape lookout.

Welcome to the fold. With a forum name like fixitman. I would think a DIY hammock would be right up your alley. All the information that you need to make your own hammock is located right here.

Yup...that Shug...one crazy mUni-chucker! He's a celebrity. Hmm...a celebrity...I should so stalk him! Shuuuuuuug...please ignore the sudden appearance of a strange hammock across the street from you...and the telltale glint of sunlight off a camera lens...nothing to see here...these are not the droids you're looking for........
