    Mobile-friendly forum

I've recently been using my mobile device more to check email and participate on this forum as that has been the most convenient way while I bottle feed my baby or otherwise keep with my family. Some forums i've seen have mobile versions (slimmed down, narrower etc).

I can make do with my device but I was wondering if other forum members use mobile devices here and if there are plans to upgrade our forum to accommodate?

Good question....I'm usually on a droid when visiting HF and it (the droid) can do almost everything a PC environment can do but there are some noteable exceptions. A mobile version may be the ticket.

I would second the Droid, I can get by with mine to get my HF fix, but it would be nice for a mobile version. Might be way more effort than a donation site would justify having....some of my pay sites have fairly reasonable ones. There is a TON more content on this site than any of those!

A mobile-friendly site may not be all that involved. All that's needed is for a "browser version detection" to determine the rendering of the existing site.

I'm on with my CrackBerry about 90% of the time.

Some of the forums seem to have it built in, like an upgrade. This forum seems similar to others ihe used ... Maybe it's part of an upgrade. I don't know how custom this one is on the back end

There's a plugin for VB called - www.tapatalk.com - that is supposed to make it easier for iphone and Droid users to interact with the forum. Maybe the mods would consider adding it in for us?

Thanks for the link to that app. I may end up installing that for my forum.
