Yep, mine does catch once in awhile... dbl is the culprit.. Just have to keep an eye and slow down a little.. I agree, no big deal really..
I've never had a problem with zipper snags on my WBBB. Now with sleeping bags, that's a different story!

Well as everyone knows from reading it must be a double layer thing. I have a 1.7 single and have had no problems. It has to be because the extra fabric. If it only happens when you get in, try what you said about pushing all the extra fabric toward the middle of the hammock.
good luck.
I have only had my WBBB for a few weeks, had it snag once or twice. If i pick up on the zipper pull a little it doesn't seem to happen.
I have a 1.0 double and a 1.7 double BB and not had an issue with zipper snaps.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
I have one of the first ones, and I don't recall any snagging problems. But I have in plenty of sleeping bags. One of the reasons some few folks ( like Ed Speer ) like Velcro or that other stuff JRB uses. Pros and cons I guess!
my zipper gets snagged once in a while on my Blackbird...in my case it has to do with the Dbl layer....if i put my weight on the fabric it's fine...but if i don't...it gets snagged..no big deal at all
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
