Mt. Mitchell Camping

Hey I'm going to be camping with my Boy Scout Troop at Briar Bottom Campground. I saw online that it was a

tent only campground

.
So I was wondering if someone could give some very compact stand advice or some kind of loopole.
Please don't make me sleep in that dirty peace of junk they call the t... i'm not even going to say it

You have a "hammock tent," correct?

I could be wrong but when they say tent only, I believe they are trying to exclude rv's, trailers, etc.

You might want to ask for a clarification.

This is true what Hanging Yankee said. I'd give them a call tomorrow. Be sure to tell them you use straps to protect the trees.

thanks for the info. I may be heading up that way in Febuary and it would have been a deal breaker if I would have had to go to ground

Listen up guys please....there is nothing wrong with sleeping on the ground if you absolutely have too, just..."Be Prepared". and remember others are watching and learning from your "Role Modeling".
