That sounds like some thread title on one of those ADULT sites....
New to the trees here in Michigan, my buddy and I actually spent the past weekend kayaking down the Au Sable River for three nights with our first $5 hammocks from Wally World, homemade toole bugnets, and cheapo tarps from Menards. Took the first night to get the bugs, I mean kinks, worked out but after that it got better and better.... Had serious rain night two and stayed dry as a bug under our tarps and in our hammocks.... Rained so hard it pushed two tent campers out their tents at 5:00am to pack stuff up and call it quits.... I was impressed with how even the cheapo tarp with bungee tie-outs took the rain and wind... Can't wait to make a really fly for the rig....
Already gained a great deal of knowledge from all the posts here and can't wait to get the sewing machine out and see what other things i can create....
I'M LOVIN' IT...Now if I can just get the girlfriend to appreciate the benefits of a hammock...
