snake-skins for OES Deluxe SpinnUL Tarp

    Gentlemen,
i have one of the above tarps on order and am awaiting shipment. Brian informed me that when I asked him to supply a set of snakeskins with the tarp he unfortunately couldn't do those. Now I'm looking for a set of those to pack up the tarp in. Since I want to use it alternatively with and without my HH, I'm looking for a separate set.
The tarp has a ride length of 130", so supposedly the smaller skins (77" long,
7 1/2" circumference at wide end, 2" circumference at narrow end) should be in order, right?
Anybody has a set of HH or a good "me too" set in darkish colors around that could fit the bill?
    Thanks, saupacker

    alternatives:

goto the diy article section, find the one on snake skins and make your own. But go about 1/2 as thick on the large diameter, it is too big(the one in the article). I would order som eno-see-um netting and make my own, it will be lighter and you will have a sense of accomplishment. Or you can make some ties to go on your ridgeline out of elastic shockcord. If you look in the loop/shackle thread you will find them, they are toward the end. I believe they refer to them as tarp furlers.

I don't think Hennessy makes snakeskins in sizes anymore. They only offer one size on their website now and no info on the size of that.

I have a set of JRB Python Skins (huge snake skins) from when they were still allowed to sell them, if interested.

I'm not sure where I "got" this, but I think all HH snakeskins are now what used to be "#4".

@ ikemouser: excellent advice, hadn't thought of that, thanks a lot. I'll try my luck at it - doesn't really seem too complicated - and will post pics with results.
@ wentworth : thanks for the offer, but won't be necessary anymore, see above.
@ all: thanks for your input, gents.
