You shouldn't worry too much, Jerry. We don't lose everyone that goes to the hill.

EVERY time, read that ... EVERY time I have camped on Browing Hill, somethig extraordinary has happened ...
I'll share my last experience ...
The Hooser Hang last Spring ...
I decided I wanted some peace and quiet, you know flatulance and snoring, I hung my camp on the far edge of the Hill's pond.
After the HH campfire talk, I arrived at my site with all the peace and quiet I had hoped for.
I was in the "mock" roughly 10 minutes when one of my mock's bridge bars ripped thru the fabric and "boom" I was on the ground about midnight.
After surveying my situation, I got frustrated and decided to hike out and back to the car in the dark.
After about 10 minutes of hiking, just outside the Hoosier Hangers, my head lite went dead.
There I was about 1/4 mile from everyone but still on the hill. It was WAY too dark to continue and even to return. So, I laid my tarp on the ground, wrapped up in my quilt and hoped daylite would happen "fast".
Don't you know, some time later, one of Indiana's curious, snorting deer began to investigate me. Did the usual, un-nerved me while it completly circled me snorting and stomping. Lord, I hate that when solo snoozing.
From previous similar experiences, I've decided NOT to try to scare them off as I'm not sure when a disgruntled buck might decide to charge me with his rack lowered.
Soooooooooooo, I just played dead and hoped it would go away.
I slept on and off till I could see good enough to hike out.
Did ... And when I got to my car, after a 50' hike, the windshield was thick with FROST.
Another interisting Brown Hill experience ... ( I've more if anyone is interested)
I can't do the Hill this weekend as I have a date with my kids to go to the Indianapolis Speedway's Moto GP. Motorcycles pulling wheelies at 200 mph.

Jerry is having some health problems and has been getting tests today, so we may try to make it next weekend.

Thankee Mule for the update. I have been thinking about you fellas on top of that hill tonight.
If you guys go next weekend it sounds as if Dplant might be able to go with you.

Hey Jerry,
I and I think many others would like to know if you have any plans for summitting Browning Mtn. in the future.
I was sad to hear that you had been shut out from making a bid for the summit...and it sounded as if you were even going to have the assistance of the famous Browning Mtn sherpa/guide....Mule.

GramMan I could hardly recognize you without the shocking blue font.
Pete.
The opinions expressed by this user are not those of a competent individual. If they were that would mean I know what I am talking about.
Well Otter,
the color of the font may have changed from blue to black, but he has definetely been affected by his trips to the top of Browning Hill.
GramMan, I was wondering if you have been invited by Jerry and his illustrious sherpa-guy Mule to go on the next Browning Mtn Summit attempt?
Jerry,
we definetely want to see those pictures and video you make of the documentation of the Haints of Indiana's StoneHedge.
