    I have.

My first hammock was a TrekLight. My buddy got a deal where he got two Henessey hammocks for the price of one. So I ended up using one of his since it had a bug net for a thru hike of the Long Trail.

Nothing wrong with trying out other gear if you have the chance.

After that I was totally sold and got a WBBB.

Like the Marines I'm Semper Fi.

I make it a habit to neither lend or borrow my personal gear unless absolutley necessary. I would feel awful if gear I borrowed got damaged in my care so I wouldn't want someone else to feel that way if my gear got damaged in their care. Sometimes I do buy some gear specifically as loaners.

I guess you could say I broke up with my ENO singlenest for a WBBB but I still use the ENO for day hikes. I have never used others gear though

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

Running Feather has a story about that from the Spring Hot Springs hang! I was involved, but he tells it so much better!

I'm in a very open, polyamorous relationship with my Warbonnet Blackbird and my Speer IIIa.

Oh, and to answer your question, no. I have never slept in another person's hammock. I still use my first love, a DIY double layer 1.1 tan Wally world ripstop 12'. I've re-whipped it a few times, but she's still the same lovely lay she's always been.

I like to sleep around and never send out a hammock that hasn't been laid in.
