    I used that "stitch" to put some 2mm cord around my steering wheel. I was gonna half hitch it, but was dreading all that passing through of the spool, so I made up (or so I thought, I should know better than to think I've come up with something new regarding rope) that method, and went to town. Came out quite nice.
