CJH NX150 - Spreader Bar Storage

As per some folks wondering what to do with the NX150 spreader bars

And My wondering as well . . .

I purchased a bit of 3/4" PVC pipe
    a glue on end cap,
and a screw end, and glue to screw adaplter

    unt - Voila

I will strap the unit to my pack and way we go

    PVC unit 4.7oz or 135gr

    I'm not much of a gram weenie . . .
    . . . for the sake of workability - I like it.

I use the exact same system but without the screw adapters. I'll add those to mine. Thanks.

I posted another different, but similar idea awhile back.

The sack is compound UGLY, but I am replacing it with some camo ripstop today. Doesn't weigh anything (unless you're a gram weenie) and since it is always attached, won't be forgotten.

Ex'lent invention, Bradley. I'm headed for the hardware store. That screw on end is good Idea. That way you don't lose the end cap and the contents too. Strapping it on the outside of a pack? sounds like kiss it good by.

Also good for storing anything long n thin that you need to protect. It's a bit heavy, and I have a flute made from the same stuff, so could carry that. But, one Item I carry that could benefit from such a storage device is my tin whistle.
I can't think of anything else right now, but that is a nice piece of work, thanks for posting it!

This is a DIY aluminum tube for storing the CJH NX-150 spreader poles. I put a rubber stopper in one end of the tube, then attached a threaded pipe adapter on the other end which a cap screws into. A d-ring and clip were added to the screw cap to allow for easy hanging from the side of the hammock. The whole thing was painted and sealed with a clear enamel for weatherproofing. A simple solution that keeps the hammock poles from being lost or broken.
