Amsteel 7/64" is only 2 grams per foot. Dynaglide is even less.

My whoopie is attached to my tree strap and at the end of the strap is a loop with a sewn in dutch clip. I only recently added the dutch clip but for ease and speed of deployment that's what I'll be using from now on.

You guys are talking about how simple a Marlin spike is to use but why are there so many stories and warnings about them failing? My suspension would be tough to not set up correctly.
