Quick suggestion -- if anyone wants to be added at a location defined more precisely than just your zip code (or non-US equivalent) please include a street intersection, an actual address (not recommended!) or even geo coordinates. It helps a lot when I can let Google search for the spot.

My Author Website/Blog - My first novel, "Here Be Monsters", a mystery set in the Adirondacks, has just been published in paperback and Kindle formats.
I'm having issues getting this to work...I'm in IT and I can't friggen figure out how to edit my point on the map!
Maybe I need more coffee.
Edit: Weird - It wouldn't let me edit it before, but now I can. So I'm all set. I even added hammock photos!

LR, GoogleMaps shows some pretty funky behavior, at least on my WinXP Pro / Firefox client setup. Judicious use of Next/Previous navigation buttons and page refreshing seems to help sometimes. Getting to page 5 is challenging.

This is a great project. I tried adding myself but don't know how to change the icon to that sweet HF icon. Can I get added please?

To get it to work for me, I had to close the browser, re-open the map, and click my name, then the edit button on the left. The point on the map changed to an edit box that allowed me to change the name, icon, description, and even add some photos.
See if that helps.
