Hiking the Cross Florida Greenway (W to E). 3 days/2 nights - US19 to Santos TH. - It should put me over 1/2 of the Coast to Coast in sections.

I saved gas when I went back to college. Camped out at Dead Horse State Park in AZ. Had to chase a rattler outta my tent.

I love hearing about your N. AZ trips. I hope to meet you when I finally get back out to visit.

Unfortunately, I have been obligated to a family trip to Lake Chatuge in N. Georgia. I do hope to get into Linville Gorge on Labor Day. Anyone heading that way?

Our hike plans have changed. IMT is out, AT is in from Roan Mtn, just south of the shelter, down to US 19 at Roan Mtn, TN. This includes going over the 2nd highest point on the AT, a stay at Overmountain Shelter and some spectacular views with plenty of bald walkin'. Temps with a high around 70 and a low around 40-45. Yeah, this is gonna be sweet.

Hanging in the backyard overnight while keeping an eye on the smoker. Not sure if that counts but it is a lot better than the way I used to watch the smoker. Laying on a cot!!

    Everybody have a great weekend!!
