Come on Quest, lay down the law. Easy for me to say, I just tell my class not to show up.

As far as food goes, we are not really planning on bringing car camping cooking equipment. Trying out some alky stoves and some Hawks Vittles. But what ever folks want to do is cool.

Neither of which do we necessarily need, we should just plan for that.
They are fine with campers and parking. But I am sure tickets will be issued if you don't have a permit on the dash for parking the unattended vehicles on Sat and Sun.

Possibly we could consider shuttle of vehicles down to the free parking area on Sat AM and then end the hiking there on Sunday. It is around 10 miles from Seaton Creek Camp to Upper River Trailhead Via the MRT. Lots of hanging possibilities on that side also. About the same distance on the NCT but only one water option at Eddington Creek.

I will most likely be bring my jetboil and grill.... It is a backpack grill for shorter trips which this one is... I'm all about going light when on multiday trips, have too, most places I go required BearKegs which that alone add 3# to your pack...

You will need a filter anywhere on the trail.
