i will be up there in the same area this weekend taking the kids on some day hikes to some of the spots i seen.

Sometimes thats just the way the GPS is, we walked the same trail both ways and it should overlap but it doesn't. On the best day it only has 10' of accuracy so it's pretty easy to be off by a bit. I don't think that one does very well hanging from my sternum strap, I forgot the one I usually hike with.
