well, I would see if i could get the real plans from ed, I thought he sells do it yourself versions. anyway, time to stop dreraming, i dont have that much money now, I would do it with a cheep walmart/target bag. I have similar plans, but didnt put much thought into it. what would i use for the baffles, holding the down in the lines?

if you use the synthetic quilt batting from walmart, it comes in a thick sheet form. no baffles needed.

i think you can get it in a loose form, but what most people i know of have used is called "continuous filament" or something like that.
much easier to work with.

Yes the continuous filament, or scrim welded versions are much easier to use. And for most people better.

The loose stuff tends to clump up and become lumpy and uneven fairly quickly. I have some pillows that did this. They felt great to start with and after a few months began to get lumpy. After about a year they were terrible.
