So my brother-in-law and sister, who happen to be my next door neighbors, have had this hammock stand sitting in their back yard for a few years now......
I finally pulled it out off retirement with the onset of this latest hobby of mine called 'hammocking'. I was worried about it being long enough for my longish GT single but it works out okay.
bonus feature, the stand easily loads into and fits perfectly in the back of my truck

Sa-weet! A can of Rustoleum and you’re gonna have a great looking hang spot. But you likely have trees in your yard, no? So why not grab that baby and wheel it into your livingroom. Just paint it some color that’ll match the drapes. That way, your wife still might go ape, but at least you’ll have a leg to stand on. “But honey, it matches the drapes!”
Then wheel it back outdoors, wife watching through window, and return to your own bed, tail betwixt legs.
At least that’s how most of us do it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure those rust marks are just on the surface and will probably rub right off. It's got a heavy duty enamel-like coating on it.
No way will I be able to put it in the house, she'll flip! Besides I can just put it in the garage........ as long as I leave room for her to park

Nice stand. Do you know what brand that is. I like the curved look.
