Dang....didn't even realize the possible insinuation on my title.
MODs - Please feel free to change to something more appropriate..."Hello from SC." I tried to edit in the post and couldn't change the title, just the body text.
Thanks for all the advice/info. I am going to order the WBBB today and then start researching more details on a tarp and other nifty gadgets. Guess I won't be getting much done at the office for the next few days. What a great site!
I agree that you can't go wrong w/ the WBBB. If you are on a budget, you can find an inexpensive tarp to get you started, then upgrade. There is a huge tarp by a company named Chinook that sells online for around $30 and would make a good started tarp. Sounds like you are going to be mostly car camping so a slightly heavier tarp should not be an issue.
Good luck & welcome to HF!
Thanks GvilleDave. Will definitely checkout the Chinook tarp.
Thanks Mods for changing the title!
Welcome to the forum. I am from down around the Greenwood / Abbeville area. you have definitely found the right place to learn about hammock hanging. I have gotten in big trouble by becoming addicted to DIY hammock and gear. My next BIG project is going to be a tarp.

Well I took the plunge......placed my order for the WBBB 1.7 DL today. Now I need to get focused on tarp selection while I anxiously await the WBBB's arrival.
Thanks for the welcome and recommendations. Looking forward learning alot more from the hammock forum members.
