    WBBB 1.7 DL on order

Just placed my order today. Never hammock camped and figure what the heck I might as well dive straight in.

Now on to sifting through all the info on tarps while I wait for the WBBB.

Good choice! AND...if you decide that it isn't for you, the WBBB has about the fastest resale time of all on this forum.

Thanks Beep. Don't think I will regret it. Hoping to get the wife to start hanging with me after she sees the new set-up. Can't wait until it gets here and I can set it up and give it a go. Still looking for a tarp. Figured I would go a little more economical on the tarp to start and then maybe upgrade later.

Hah. Did the same thing. Just dove in and bought a Warbonnet Blackbird without ever having slept in a hammock. I don't regret it one bit. I know you won't.

    Thumbs up WBBB Purchase

You will not regret your choice of hammock but if hammocking is just not for you, beeps got it right, it won't last long if you choose to sell it. If you haven't chosen a tarp for it yet, might I suggest you take a look at OES made by Brian MacMillin. Quality is excellent, many options and sizes are available and they come seam sealed and ready to go. Welcome and don't forget to post your exploits here for all to enjoy...Bush

Hey Rigrunner, I too just placed an order for a WBBB 1.7 dl :O My missus is now giving me grief in case I get nailed for the dreaded customs charges (I live in N. Ireland). If I do, it's gonna be one expensive hammock! I also have a 2QZQ modded hennesy which is great but I have to use it as a sweetener to give to her so I can have the blackbird...

    Hope it's worth it !....lol

why go cheap and upgrade later....just get the one you want now
it will cost you less in the long run

i would keep an eye out in the for sale section ....one pops up here and there.....
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
