    Whoopie sling to strap connection

With a lot of help (and patience!!) from you kind folks, I was able to change my ENO DN suspenion to WS. I used a 12" contineous loop (attached to a ring) twice through the end channel with a larks head... I then attached the SRL and the WS to the ring from the hammock. Now my question:

-o- Is it okay to just use a (1100#) biner to directly attach the adjustable loop of the WS to the loop on the tree strap? I was just concerned that the bend in the WS at the biner would be too sharp and weaken the line. (Just demonstrated my ignorance, huh????)

    Thank you....

Lots of folks have done just that with a carabiner to hook up the straps and slings. A little heavier than a toggle- Marlin Spike set up but works fine none the less.

    Thanks!!!

    Thanks, Pgibson and Dblecorona!!!

I was pretty sure that was okay; just wanted to double check with someone more knowledgeable than I!

My next step will be to a marlin spike; just wanted something to use immediately for now.

I hope that Double Corona is a Rocky Patel or Cohiba Maduro, Dblecorona!!!

I use the dutch clip, makes for a fast setup. To counter the loss of adjustability from not using the toggle, I wrap my fixed end of my sling around my hammock head as much as possible, so the sling is as close as possible to the head. Then i have a really long sling as well
