It seems like we have to bring some snake juice so we can take a drink and honor our hanging friends in New Jersey who is making their 4th annual winter hang at the samt time as our 1st SKAHO winter hang.

That's actually a very cool idea!
Don't know if it's at all possible (I know I haven't got a sat uplink

), but it would be fun to greet our fellow HF members on the other side of the pond!

But the cost/benefit factor is way to low(i dont go into the woods, to be online)Back in 2006 the price of the unit was about 2500$

But you can be online almost anywhere on this planet with it

(But we could probably rent somewhat cheaper(or get a roaming deal for the mobile net (even cheaper))

For those of you who haven´t been to Laggträsket and don´t know where it is I´ve made this link to Google Maps:

From there it´s easy to zoom out or in for a better view.

We slept in the southern end of the lake when we had the SKAHO last weekend. The cabins and the parkinglot is on the west side approx in the middle. There is a windshed across the lake from the cabins.
