I have a fabric/design business in Toronto so want it for winter clothing and bed quilts. Not camping stuff - no UQ or TQ

If I have to buy a huge roll and people here want some am happy to ship @ cost. (A regular bolt of cotton fabric is 15 yards so I almost fell off my chair when I read your post re: Insultex comes in a 335 yard bolt.)

Yes! They may well have some exclusive agreements with clothing manufacturers in place and you have to respect those.

I am with you MacEntyre. It is kind of a hassle to order in those quantities. This little guy can not sit on that much stuff at one time!

Thinking about putting a thin layer of insulation between a double hammock, thought maybe Insultex would do the trick. Any recommendations for this? Don't expect this to be a winter or even fall option without UQ but seems to me even in the summer you need something under you.

It works for summer. Depending on temps and how you sleep.

Only the very first roll of Insultex was a group buy. That was about two years ago. All subsequent arrangements have been my up front purchase, resold via PayPal orders. We've done three or four rolls that way, if I recall correctly.

I have no time to sell Insultex by the yard now. I am covered up with more Molly Mac Gear to make than ever before!

One reason I have been testing PE Foam as a replacement for Insultex is so that DIY folks can have an alternative. The tests are most satisfactory so far.

Reflectix is much thicker, and is completely different. It would be like comparing a blue ground pad to a blanket... The reflectix is useful like a pad, where IX is fabric-like... And works well when sewn into a quilt configuration... Reflectix is about 1/4" thick and looks like silver bubble wrap...
