Crazy Creek Chair?

I use a 2/3 uq and have a camp chair that I use as foot insulation -- works great. I've been down to high 40's and been fine. I use a the trekker chair by thermarest that's made for a thermares pad to be folded in half and put in there. But I cut a 1/4" ccf pad down to it's size and stuck it in there, since I don't carry a thermarest anymore. Works great - double duty as a chair and insulation - love it.

Thanks griesl, looking back, I see we have kind of had this conversation before I guess I think about things too much before I buy. While I have your attention, is the 1/4 inch foam you use stiff, like a wallyworld blue pad or more flexible? I am probably going this route, but want the footpad to be stiff enough to hold the chair kit together unless you think it doesn't really matter. It seems like soft and flexible would be best for the footpad function, but I dont want the chair kit to totally collapse. Thoughts? And possible measurements for your footpad? thanks.
