I enjoy the swinging motion, especially in the summertime, when swinging causes small breezes to blow over you. I can see how acclimating yourself to movement could help though over time.

Did anyone else look up these treatments? That is, medically, the wackiest thing I've ever heard of. It is like those little puzzles where you tilt the box to get the bb to fall into different holes. I guess it must work though.http://www.peacehealth.org/kbase/top...519/detail.htm

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions and advice. I have now got some good ideas to think about and then put into action. I think the first thing I'm going to do is check into Beep's solution by visiting my Dr. because I love to swing until I get sick that is. lol
I'd love to be able to go on a roller coaster again!
I did try the diagonal sleeping but just the slightest movement made my head swim and my stomach roll.
Draminine (sp) might help too....at least until I can get some help.
Once again, Thanks everyone!
Well I guess I will put my 2 cents in ,,,,,,, I noticed when I got my hammocks, they had straps on them for the suspension, I hung like a sack of potatoes..,But when I changed out the suspension for whoopi slings I started to "swing" so I put the straps on again to make sure I wasn't loosing my mind. But to my surprise I wasn't swinging in it ,. So again!!!I put the whoopies "back" on and swung. So I just try and stop myself when I get in, if I was going to get sick or didnt like the gentle swaying I would put the straps on and that would take care of a lot of swing..
