    Average UQ weight...

    I'm preparing plans for an under quilt, and was wondering about the average weight of an under quilt...

    My 1/2 DIY UQ is 14 ounces with suspension and all. Has 8oz of down in it. Good to 30º.

    I have larger 3/4 size with 10oz of down. It is 20oz with stuff sack and suspension.

    Almost done with mine 70X47 tapered to 15 in on the ends. Its ready for down. Shell with suspension is 9 oz going to use 6 oz of down. total will be 16 oz with stuff sack.

    My DIY 2/3 Length 3 season UQ is 11oz ...it has 4oz of down in it
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    My DIY UQ is 51" long by 38" wide and 1.25" thick. It has 3.1 oz of 900 FP down.
    With suspension, in the stuff sack, it weighs 10.6 oz.
