    Vermont Long Trail Section Hike

Just Mike and I are off for the Long Trail tomorrow evening. We have just enough free time to do the lower third--Williamstown, MA to Rutland, VT. Plan to be in Manchester, VT for a mail drop on Tuesday or Wednesday. All packed and the weather's looking reasonable.

Packed plenty of hot chocolate and a few cool new bars. Life is Good.

I did from MA to Manchester this summer and its great hikeing, make sure you make it up to the fire towers. The accent to the trail is steep and real rockey. The wilderness areas are beatiful. Have fun and be safe, trip report and pics or it dident happen

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Be careful and have a ball!!! Take pics, eat chocolate, more pics, and you should probably start a 'trail journal'. I still need to mail you some hot peppers, I know, I know. Life, such as it is, has been crazy. No worries .....

    Hike on! Hang on!

    Hey Chocolatier, how was it?

It sounds like you had a good time. I'm looking forward to the trip report.
