I am thinking seriously about placing an order with Featherind. They have a pretty good price on 750fp down. Has anyone here purchased from them? If so, do you reccomend or warn?

I can't find prices or anything on their site. How much are they charging?
When in doubt I try to email and call web companies before I order. I haven't had a problem yet with a company that had good customer service.
I should have posted that I have been in contact with them. The 750 runs about $4.69 an oz. including shipping.
I just saw that on WB. Hammock Forums gets checked first now. For that price you, depending on shipping, you could order an oz and see. If you are not in a hurry.
They have a minimum order of 2 POUNDS! So its all or nothing. It would be enough for a nice 3.5 season quilt set. Its just hard to drop $150 to an out of country company that I have no prior exp. with.
If the quilts where not 7 or 8 sewing projects down the line for me, I might go in with you.
It would be nice to be able to do a group buy. 20 pounds or more gets a 20% discount. The only drawback is how ever much you order all comes in one container. One bag with 320 oz of down
If it was uncompressed, it would be in a refrigator box.
That's a possible! A two pound order comes in an 8 cu.ft. box.
Not compressed too much.... about 42%.
