The weather really fluctuated....... Sunny, windy on Sun. and Mon. Cool/cold when the sun went away.
Tuesday Night around 38º at night according to my thermometer.
Cold rain walking out on Wed.
    Fun.

Now that does sound like a fun trip ... little of everything!

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

    Hey Shug,
Just wondering what section you did?

I got back about 3 weeks ago. My buddies and I went from Cook County Rd. 1 to Caribou Trail. It was about 33 miles. I better work on my cardio if I visit the Lutsen Mountains area again...Lots of climbing...Lookin trip vids as usual..
Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!

    Hey!
I did Hwy. 1 South to Bear Lake day one...... then to Beaver River day to then all the way to river crossing bridge at Split Rock River then back out to Beaver Bay Trailhead in the morn. Walk out was a hump.......
That whole section is more challenging than a lot of the SHT in my opinion.
