    rediscovered hanging

My dad came home one day from a surplus auction with a couple of WWII Jungle Hammocks. At eight yrs. old I couldn't wait to see this thing up. I tied it up between a small tree and a fence post. Spent many summer nights in it that outfit the summer of 1960.
    Fast Forward to today.
This summer I wanted to rig up something in the back yard. Surfed the web and found all sorts of ideas. Bought a Grand Trunk Ultra Light and was sold!
Can't sleep outside, so I made an adjustable steel tube frame for my room.
Tied up a bag to fit my room size. Wall anchors not an option.
Wow what a difference! No more morning aches and pains from a work place back injury that required surgery and 12 months recoup in 2003. I can get up at 3:00 a.m. and do a 10 hr. day at work and feel pretty good.

I have always said that hammock hanging is good for what ails you. You are living proof that it really is. Welcome to the community!
