    Te-Wa vs. HammockGear vs. Warbonnett

I hope this isn't a sensitive subject or anything, but I've been shopping around for a possible UQ (still not 100% on it yet). So far it seems to be narrowed down to one of the following: 3-season Crowsnest, 3-season Yeti, or Te-Wa standard. All 3 are similar in price, get excellent reviews by people on here, and are rated for close to the same temps (though the Crowsnest claims one 10 degrees lower than the other 2). The CN is 15.7 oz, while the Yeti is 11 and the Te-Wa 13. Weight is definitely a concern, though I'm willing to float a few ounces here and there for an exceptional product. I'm really torn about this.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

They are all exceptional UQ and you won't go wrong with any choice you make. I would ask each about expected delivery times and make sure it fits your schedule. You are comparing apples and apples here.

All are fine products. IIRC, the Hammock Gear Crow's Nest is a 3/4 length UQ, whereas the Yeti is a 2/3 length. In use there won't be much difference, though the smaller Yeti will save an ounce or two.

As a tall user (6'5"), I appreciate the extra size of the Crow's Nest. Full disclosure: I own and use both the WB 3 Season Yeti and the Crow's Nest. I have no first-hand experience with Te-Wa products.

I think the Yeti is more dummy-proof as you don't have to tighten the ends and I've been kicking around the idea of sewing on a little Yeti-like buffer flap (acts like an O-ring I guess) on either end of the Crowsnest so it will hold in the air even better.

The Crowsnest tends to stay in place slightly better than the Yeti, though I haven't had as much issue as others with the Yeti migration.

I can't speak for Te-Wa but, from everything I've heard, the quality should be excellent as well. No way to go wrong with any option you've listed.

As others have said i don't think you'll go wrong with any one of them. I've got the Yeti and have been happy with it and the other UQ's have had great reviews also. Their all cottage indie guys so its all good.

I personally own the CrowsNest 3 season. I have also seen the Yeti first hand from another hanger. I can't speak for the Te-Wa though. I don't see that you could go wrong with any of these UQs.

I have a Te-Wa and a Warbonnet and a JRB and have seen the quality of CrowsNest. All are great. You might want to make an Excel sheet and make a comparison chart and decide what attributes are most important to you and make your choice that way.

Stormcrow beat you to it. Here's a link to his comparison chart from a while back. Not sure when it was last updated though. But its very useful!

I've got a Yeti 2/3 length and a JRB full length and I'm very happy with both. But I am planning to add a Stormcrow full-length quilt to my arsenal; mainly due to the full-length design and differential cut.

I have the Crowsnest 3 season and couldn't be happier with it. It's an awesome product. I've seen the Winter Yeti and like it also.

But for me, the Crowsnest was the best choice. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of your choices.

I was willing to carry a few extra ounces if it kept me warm.
