New dude from Estonia

Hello!
My being here is all thanks to Jeff aka. "vitamaltz" who loaned his hammock when i went hiking in Dolly sods, WV. It was too good to be true so one evening we got together and he helped me to make a hammock of my own

. morning after waking up in the hammock and seeing vultures flying beyond the forest was that i died and went to heaven, it was just too nice!

So I'm from Estonia, small country in north-east Europe. I have being outdoors from childhood, when I spent my summers on fieldwork whit my dad, mostly dealing with birds. Right now I finished internship in the US in wildlife medicine and getting ready to return to home and spread the hammock fever what i caught here..

Welcome to the best forum on the web. When you get home an start promoting hammocks. Be sure to post pictures of your hangs.

Can I deduce that your dad was An Avian Biologist?

North of Latvia, I see..are there any interesting wildlife preserves/parks/forests that you go to? what is on that big island off the NW coast?
(I just love Google maps.. like an eye in the sky, even if occasionally out of date..)

Welcome. You're fortunate to have run into Vitamaltz. He's a great guy (and a rare bird himself on the forum these days). Spread the word about hammocking back home, and let us know what you make next.
