Sign of life at OES?

Full time college is no joke when you have other responsibilities such as a job or business. If a retailer states that on their site, as he does, you have to take that into account in expecting timely messages or shipment. I received a recent order a lot quicker than expected. The mods could be taking slightly longer too, but the custom work he does definitely made it worthwhile to me at least. I'm not trying to make excuses for Brian, just that if you want the best gear, an extra bit of patience may sometimes be necessary.

I'm in Australia and ordered my hammock, tarp, quilts and whoopies all within a week of one another.

Brian was always the first to respond and his tarp was the first item to arrive a few weeks later.

First class service in my book.

I have like others said had emails lost within spam filters, maybe that is the cause.

He's good for it, you certainly have no worries there. Brian and I have exchanged a couple of emails this week and last - he told me he's got a back-log of 20+ tarps. Have no idea where you are in the que, or how quickly he can crank those out.

I ordered a deluxe spinn on July 8th and received it at the end of Aug. The workmanship is superior - you will not be disappointed. I know waiting feels eternal, but your tarp will arrive -for sure!

Hey folks, I just wanted to give a quick update to the situation. I've been quite ill for the past week and a half with some major balance/vertigo issues going on, and I'm just beginning to recover to the point that I can a) get back to school/work and b) returning to communication duties that I have simply not had the capacity to fill.

I've shot some emails and PM's around to those who have had issues, and also for the time being I've completely turned off my SPAM filter in hopes that there are no issues with future communications. I apologize to those who have been impacted by this, and I'm working to improve communications ASAP so that I can keep getting tarps shipped out as promised.

Sorry to hear that ... hope you have a full recovery soon! No impact to me but hate to hear you had to deal with that. Good friend of mine had similar issues years ago.

Sent payment to Brian on Monday, September the 13th, on my hammock's tarp after emailing him the Friday before.
So his recovery looks good and seems to be moving full steam ahead.

I know that because he just informed me that my tarp is going to the Rochester PO today, Saturday the 18th.

My hammock system is now complete: WB Blackbird DL 1.0, OES MacCat Deluxe SpinnUL, WhoOpie sling suspension, ridgeline and guyouts and a MollyMac 3/4 IX UQ.

Plan on posting a video of my sweet system here and on my new blog at http://wildgeneadventures.blogspot.com sometime by the end of the month.

All those folks behind this gear have been great with me: answered questions, shipped timely and well made products.

They all deserve multiple thumbs up.
