    Bridge Backyard Overnighter

I try out my remodeled bridge hammock for the first time. A comfortable hang, but no sleep! Maybe next time I'll have to get up early the morning before, work my butt off, and pop a sleeping pill! haha. a.k.a. hike!

The bridge is defiantly the hammock for me though, flattest hang I've felt yet!

Great video--I wouldn't be able to sleep with all of that rain either--a newbie's nightmare!

Well the rain wasn't the problem, maybe besides the loud pitter patter, but I mean in the bed usually I wake up sort of out of a coma I slept so hard, and you say "it must be raining outside".

Nice video. Looks like your hammock is a success and your tarp worked well. Not being able to fall to sleep may have had nothing to do with the hammock. It could have just been a case of nerves or just to many things on your mind. I would give it another try this coming weekend. Don't get discouraged! You have made yourself a fine hammock. Now give your self some time to get used to sleeping in it.

Nice DIY bridge! I am waiting for my webbing to arrive and I will start on my own.

I saw your other video explaining the construction - the one where you got dumped, what modifications have you made since?

Poppabear: The hammock WAS great! I guess I just had a little to much caffeine that day or something. lol. Will definitely be using it some more and backpacking.

leroybrown: No modifications since the backyard overnighter video. What webbing are you using? I used cheap strap down material from my local Harbor Freight Tools store. Cost me like $5. Remember to put in the "cat cuts" as they call it to the sides of the hammock, really helps with the flatness! Don't do like I did and make it straight, and have to un-stitch it all and sew it again!
