    Cheap, long zippers?

Anyone have any recommendations on where to get 48" zipper at the cheapest price? I found some for about 5$, but want to buy 5-10 to keep around. Where does everyone buy their zippers?

Separating, non-separating, metal plastic, teeth or coil, #5/8/10??

We get the vislon 2-way separating #5 zippers from Seattle Fabrics. We get the 46" zippers, $3.75 each.

If you are looking for non-separating zippers, just buy continuous zippers by the yard and make the zipper whatever length you want and add sliders.

I buy the cheap fleece sleeping bags and steal them from those and recycle the fleece into a mild weather top quilt/underquilt when making DIY hammocks.

Still gotta get my BB clone done to tell you if they work well or not. I have yet to bust one. Can't say that about the ones on my tents, more expensive bags, etc.

    Ditto on Quest

I had a good experience with Quest
the #5 coil zipper was .99 cents per yard, and zipper pulls were pretty cheap as well
ordered online and they shipped quickly

Working on my BB clone now too I found the #5 zipper to be bigger/beefier than the one on my WBBB dbl 1.7
