3/4th Crows Nest vs New River vs Ember vs Super Shelter. Augh!

So I am stuck firmly in a dilemma here. I now own two hammocks; an Eno DoubleNest and a regular ole Hennessy Expedition Asym, no zip. Love them both...I probably don't need to go over with you guys why I think they both have their individual benefits and down falls, lol.

So anyway, I want to get an underquilt bought in the next couple days to make sure I don't freeze my butt off in the upcoming MAHHA hang. So I'm turning to the good people here on the forums to help me decide which UQ to go for. I'd like to get one that I could use on either hammock (Which makes me lean towards the CrowsNest) but I do like the idea of the full quilt. I've never tried any before though so I'm not sure it makes that big of a difference! I really just put the SS in there for arguments sake. I think the crinkling from the space blanket would drive me up the wall.

    So...opinions?

A more fair comparison would be between a full length UQ's or fractional UQ's from both vendors. You can get both from either. The KAQ will be heavier while being more forgiving in damp conditions as well as less expensive. The Crowsnest will be lighter, less bulky and more expensive. I don't know that you will here anything bad about either vendor.

I have never heard a sound from my cheap WM space blankets, once I am in the hammock. Though very noisy while putting the SB in the hammock. The Heat Sheet is much quieter either way.

But, you can only use the SS on the HH, so I would think you would want something else you could use on other hammocks also.

Crowsnest hands down the best UQ for the money just my .01

but don't overlook the NR it's a really nice quilt ...The SS is hit or miss if you ask me and you can only use it on a HH....
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
