OK, there is a possibility that I may have to push this back a week. I have just been informed that my daughters will both be out of school the following FRIDAY, Oct 22nd. This may be a better weekend for this trip.

Needs to be a month with an R in it. Preferably, one like January, February or March. I don't really like oysters after march or before October.
Sadly Oct 14-17 here in Kingstree is the weekend of the pig picking/bbq contest. I also hope to be helping a friend out with his pig. It's also when I go get a couple pounds worth to stick in the freezer. Nothing like having a bowl of hot grits with bbq pig on a cold fall/winter morning.

by the by -- keep in mind that Congaree Natn'l swamp is fine neutral territory for us to meet up in the middle. Of course, I need to get a new hammock since I sold my bmbh and haven't found a suitable replacement.

I am willing to put "MY" island up for use in either December or January for another group hang. By then my dbl layer(5oz/sqyd total) climasheild UQ will be completed and I will be able to withstand those temps at night. I did 41*F last night in a single layer(2.5oz) w/ melted IXlayer UQ. I get a week off btwn Christmas and New Year. Maybe we can start planning for then.
