Thanks Shug. I have the Honey Stove and it works pretty well. I reckon I'm just looking for a cleaner woodburner.

Honestly, you would probably get one sooner if you just order one from the guys in Canada. It will cost you a little more, but not much.
I just ordered one and it was 96.00 (US dollars) total, including shipping.

Nope... that was for the regular one. I really didn't see enough of a difference to merit the extra 20.00 for it just to save a bit more than 1 ounce; especially when they are making things thinner to save the weight.
But I also carry a 7oz pillow (my comfort gear) when I backpack.
I just got a regular model bushbuddy from a list member and it is a great little stove!! I made a few of the quart can stoves that performed well and while the BB and the Qt. Cans are the same OS diameter, the Qt. cans are taller and don't fit well in the 900ml Snow Peak and MSR pots. The BB is a better fit and the design is more refined. I was surprised to see the size of the burn chamber of the BB compared to what I was able to build into my Qt. can stoves. I was also impressed with the even flame pattern that the BB produces. I would assume that the flame pattern is indicative of careful design to balance the flow of air into and around the burn chamber. The regular BB is built with incredibly thin SS. I cannot imagine where they were able to trim 1.5oz!! If you get the regular or ultra, I would strongly suggest storing and transporting the unit inside the pot to keep it from being damaged.
Of all the stoves I own or have purchased, this is my favorite! I wish I had it years ago!!
I want one to and have seen them for sale here and BPL occasionally but for almost the same price as new. After reading an interview about the guy who makes them I decided I would order directly from him when I get the money!
I need some cash!!! This is my next piece of must have gear!
